Support and assistance in the event of an emergency

You do not have to struggle on your own if the state of the world and Ukraine especially worries and scares you. Here is a list of sites that offer counselling in the event of an emergency.

The Taivassalo parish distributes food bags on even-numbered weeks on Fridays and odd-numbered weeks on Wednesdays. The food bag can be booked in advance from the contact person Pirkko Helin, tel. +358 40 729 1691.

A Finnish Immigration Service notification form (in Finnish) must be completed for all passenger transports arriving from Ukraine to Finland.

If you are unable to use the form, you can give the information by contacting the Finnish Immigration Service by phone at +358 295 463 300. It is important to notify the authorities beforehand so they can assess the potential need for accommodation and support.

School

Regarding any questions about school or daycare, please contact the director of education
Anna Kaskinen tel. +358 50 387 3397 or anna.kaskinen@taivassalo.fi
